The Sex Pistols don't want in the HOF

John Lydon posted a note on his website telling the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame to piss off. It couldn't be a more perfect response from the ultimate punk band.

Discover The Next Original

The Mike Estep Band has been selected for inclusion on a compilation CD entitled "Discover The Next Original, Volume II," sponsored by Pilsner Urquell beer and the NPR radio program World Café. This is truly an eclectic international collection, with artists from all over the world and from a number of different music genres.

Superstar musical legends Steve Winwood, Emmylou Harris and The Robert Cray Band are joined by rising stars Jamie Cullum, Bloc Party, Old 97's, Josh Ritter, and 10 others, including the MEB with their song, "Borders To Share." It's a celebration of original music, one that we are thrilled to be a part of.

Details of the CD's release and availability are still being determined, but we'll let you know more as soon as we can.

In the meantime, right-click here to download our newly recorded studio version of Borders To Share, or visit our MySpace page to hear the streaming mp3.

Constellation Brands is the big dog

Having recently purchased the Mondavi Winery, Canandaigua's Constellation Brands is an incredible juggernaut in the beverage industry. It's pretty amazing for a company that started out of a sauerkraut factory.

Here's a PDF of all the brands they sell/produce.

VH denies they're doing Rock Star

Persistent rumors that Van Halen will audition new singers on the upcoming season of CBS reality series "Rock Star" are untrue, according to the network.

"All it is is a rumor, we deny it," a CBS Entertainment spokesperson tells Billboard.com. "We don't even have [an act] firmly established yet, though, hopefully we will shortly."
