We Are the Web

This gets a little "tech-y," but it's a really interesting article about the history of the web and how we never could have guessed what it has become. It mostly talks about how we, the general populace, are the driving force, the content provider, the heart and soul of the Internet. Well worth a few minutes of your time.

Cool off at Wacky Wyatt's

Hope everybody's having a great summer and you're surviving our sweltering CNY heatwave. One way to help cool yourself down is to get over to Wacky Wyatt's in Baldwinsville this Friday July 22 for good food, ice cold beverages, and a really cool band (the MEB, of course!). We play early (7-10 or so) and it's a very family friendly place, so bring the kids along and start them early on their MEB indoctrination.

See you there!

40 Things That Only Happen In Movies

This is pretty funny. Some examples:
6. If you decide to start dancing in the street, everyone you bump into will know all the steps.
13. If staying in a haunted house, women should investigate any strange noises wearing their most revealing underwear.
34. Anyone can land a 747 as long as there is someone in the control tower to talk you down.

An informal poll on USAToday.com asked for you to vote on your favorite American rock band ever. I'm still stunned that the MEB didn't crack the top 20.

Coleman's Summer Block Party Thursdays

This week we return to Coleman's on Tipp Hill for their Thursday night Block Party. We play from 6-10 PM outside in the parking lot (under a big tent, so don't worry about the weather). There will be plenty of drink specials, plus a drawing for a trip to see the Yankees. After, move inside for even more live entertainment from the well-known act TBA.

A list, a list!!
