Another one we didn't win
No Grammy for the MEB?!?! When will these award shows ever realize that we deserve one? Maybe we actually have to have a recording to qualify, but let's not get too technical, OK?
I guess the Dixie Chicks, Mary J. Blige and the Red Hot Chili Peppers were the big winners, though I turned off the oldies-fest when the first award for Pop Collaboration went to Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder rather than Nelly Furtado/Timbaland or Shakira/Wyclef Jean.
But how about The Police reunion?

Ummmm... Aren't you an oldie? And really, how can they overlook Tony and Stevie Wonder, seriously? I love the Nelly/Timbaland song as well as the Shakira/Wyclef song, but the TB show was PHENOMENAL and they TOTALLY deserved it!
Is this really Mr. Opel, band teacher who stuck a baton in his ear when I was in 9th grade??? This is Angie Leavens, formerly of MI now of NJ. Your little sister Susan gave me your blog link and I can't resist commenting on this pic of Sting since I'm a total Sting/Police freak and am so stoked about the REUNION!! We scored tickets to Madison Square Garden yesterday- woohoo!
Anyway- so aside from that I'm married with three kids, very happy and gosh, what else can I say? Now I have to read the rest of your blog!
